Pygmy Sea Horse
One of the world’s smallest seahorses, the Pygmy Seahorse (Hippocampus bargibanti), is no bigger than your pinky finger. These tiny animals are masters of disguise, using a strategy of blending into their surrounding environment to survive.

A lot of people have requested that I start categorizing posts by subject (e.g., owl, octopus, text, ect.) as well as by artist’s name and location.
I’ll be working on that starting tonight. First, I’ll go through the archives and tag the 31000+ submissions posted over the last few years. Then, I’ll add a tag page to our sidebar that’ll allow y’all to browse it easily.
(Edit: That was not sarcasm. I’m really doing it. I think it’ll make the blog better.)
